Host a Home Party or Event
Hosting a Shop for Freedom party at your home or in your community is a fun and practical way to fight slavery and help survivors. You can educate your friends about trafficking and slavery at your home, school, community center, or place of worship. You don’t need to be know a lot about the issue as we send you films to play and all the materials you need. A Shop for Freedom can be large or small – wine and cheese, a tea party, a four-course dinner – it’s all good!
We provide you all the tools and support you need to educate your guests about trafficking with a focus on hope, positive change, and empowerment. We send a video, photo montage and Powerpoint on DVD, printed awareness materials, catalogs, brochures, and beautiful handicraft products.

Hosting an Awareness Event
Submitted by Potential Abolitionist! on Wed, 08/19/2009 - 15:54.Hosting an awareness event was an amazing experience for me and for my beautiful friends who happily purchased over $600 worth of gorgeous handmade items made by survivors. It could'nt have been easier to put together. TEN sent me everything I needed. Planning another huge event in coordination with my local yoga studio for October 24. Using their studio and their mailing list as well as my own, we anticipate a wildly successful event.
