Made a Tax Deductable Donation:
Our overhead costs are covered by product sales and foundation grants so 100% of your donation goes right to survivors and shelters. Your donations will be used to expand our programs and hire and train new surviovrs. Our current focus is on expanding our jewelry training programs - we need to hire a full time trainer and raise the funds for more tools and equipment.
Host a Home Party or Community Awareness Event:
What could be more fun than changing the world, and doing it with your friends?!. A great way to help survivors and fight slavery is to host an Awareness party. It's simple, empowering and fun - you can host a party at your house or anywhere in your community. We are revamping all our videos and printed materials this summer in time for our End Slavery Now and Forever Campaign in Fall, 2010. Sponsor a Child For School:
TEN/MadeBySurvivors sponsors 100 child survivors and kids born into brothels to attend school, many for the first time in their lives. Sponsorships cost $30 a month, which pays for school fees, transportation, supplies, and shelter or boarding school room and board. Sponsorships are currently available in India and Nepal. Plan a Fundraising Event:
Successful events have included live music, gallery art shows, dance, fair trade fashion, walkathons, dodgeball and belly dance. You can raise funds for rescue, aftercare, prevention, or any of our programs, and also raise awareness in your community.
