Ten charities services and programs

Since 2005, T.E.N. Charities has worked hard to provide over 510K to high risk and to rescued women and children in need in Nepal, India, Cambodia, Ukraine, Uganda, Tanzania, and Thailand. Enabling survivors to sell over 370K of their own handicrafts, clothing, homegoods, jewelry and more to provide sustainable income to these young adults and their families T.E.N. Charities has also provided direct donations of 140K to Survivors and high risk children in need.

Our partnerships with more than 25 global anti-slavery partners, which include shelters and community programs for girls rescued from slavery, high risk children and young adults. T.E.N Charities provides assistance through income generation programs, business development, school sponsorships, funding for rescue, post trauma needs, reintegration as well as providing emergency and medical funding.

T.E.N. Charities’ Initiatives include:

INCOME GENERATION PROGRAMS for survivors and high-risk women and children teaching and encouraging an economic alternative to trafficking is vital to these girls existence. Creating their own handicrafts, clothing, homegoods, jewelry and more, provides new opportunities and hope for the future for these girls

SCHOOL SPONSORSHIPS fund tuition, school uniforms and book allowance and more for children born into brothels and rescued from the streets in India, Nepal, Thailand and Uganda as a start. Click for more information.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT assistance to global partners in need who are trying to develop an income generation program or are trying to refine one that they already have.

VOLUNTEER SERVICE TRIPS are available to some shelters in need where children or staff need services, teaching children and their families about legal rights, opportunities, helping with shelter needs such as painting and repair, playing with children delivering clothing, toys and simple medical supplies.

MEDICAL AND EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE FUND provides health care to children and young adult survivors where needed through global partners.

FUNDS FOR RESCUE AND POST TRAUMA NEEDS for trafficking survivors through global partners.

REINTEGRATION SERVICES, including housing, education, and skill training to survivors of human trafficking

TEN Charities has a policy of protecting survivors privacy by not identifying specific identities with photos or specific stories. Therefore these case histories are representative of many women in our programs and are not specific to the individuals pictured here. All names have been changed.
